Currently basically impossible to make email-sized video clips with the stock camera app. Also in the use case of being a dashcam, 1080p video is just too big when you're talking about hours of video*.
I'd like the ability to capture 480p and 720p (maybe even 360p) videos directly, and maybe have a knob for the quality/size-setting used in the compression, and adjustable FPS for the video recording. I was expecting more options than the nokia phones i had previously (since this is supposed to be a nerdy device), not less...
Note: i tried searching for this question, didnt find one. *camera direct-to-SD support would help, but this isnt that question, and it'd still be crazy big files.
