I have already tried to convince Jolla developers to implement x265 HEVC in the design of the new Jolla Tablet and they told me to announce the idea here...

I strongly believe x265 codec is the future one and successor to x264 so anyone who shares the same belief please feel free to submit your view here. It is in the community hands now :-)
