Let's take a look at how photos are ordered in picture gallery and the camera application. The list is sorted by time. P0 is the oldest, and Pn is the most recent photo.

I think this is quite confusing. Pictures are sorted in opposite ways between these two apps. Let's assume I have a cover on my home screen which is showing a photo I've taken recently. I have no way to distinguish whether that cover represents gallery or camera. This also means that I cannot tell which direction to scroll if I want to look at older pictures.

My suggestion is to reverse the camera order and change the preview to be accessible from the right side like this: [camera] - [Pn] - [Pn-1] - [...] - [P0]
