New emails in subfolders not shown

I have various rules set up on my email accounts so that mails are automatically filed into subfolders; in fact, my actual inbox gets no mail whatsoever.

My Jolla however only notifies me when a new email arrives in the root inbox, making the notifications useless for me (not to mention, my emails are always out of date).

There are already questions regarding the inability on the Jolla client to select which folders you want access to on the phone (subscription, in the usual parlance), but that aside, of those subscribed folders please can we also select which subset of folders are also monitored for new emails (i.e. they will remain up to date automatically), and of those, which subset to receive actual notifications for (as I may want access to my mailing lists on the phone, but I don't want several alerts per-minute from a high-volume list)?

...I will however want to know if a family member or friend has emailed me.
