1.1.6/Aaslakkajärvi Awful Audio under Android / Aline

I use the Android Subsonic streaming player (I love subsonic and want to port my own from Maemo to native Sailfish once I get some time).

If I play one mp3 in subsonic (that means under android) it sounds just awful, garbled, like extreme low quality or something (doesn't matter if I open it in ES file explorer and play under ES Media Player). If I play the very same one under the native media player the tune sounds just fine. Note: It is not a streaming issue, it is fully cached.

There is a report here: https://together.jolla.com/question/76902/bad-sound-in-android-apps/ (but that one is closed for some reason, it is still a bug). It is mentioned in Vaarainjärvi as a "Known issue", but that is not really a separate bug report. https://together.jolla.com/question/71741/release-notes-software-version-11127-vaarainjarvi/#71741-known-issues

Some media info:

Format: MPEG Audio

File size: 13.6 MiB

Channel(s): 2 channels

Bit rate mode: Constant

Overall bit rate: 320 Kbps

Sampling rate: 44.1 Khz

Compression mode: Lossy

Writing library: LAME3.99r

Encoding settings: -m j -V 4 -q 3 -lowpass 20.5

NOTE: I can provide a short clip if that is needed by the sailors.

This MAY be related to specific bit rates or compression ratios. I don't experience as bad sound on all clips, so it may be related to specific compression or frequency properties of the audio file.
