I have two email accounts configured on the device. One Hotmail (which works fine) and one Uni account. The Uni account uses TLS encryption for both incoming and outgoing and password authentication. When I configure the account correctly and Save I get two query screens for a username and password. These screens have no title or anything regarding their purpose, they just ask for a username and password. They seem however to save the username and password for the incoming and outgoing requests.
The problem is that once I deactivate the account and re-activate it again, it won't update anymore in the Email app. I get the message "Problem with sign-in". This can be solved by changing the usernames slightly for incoming and outgoing, Saving, canceling the username/password request screens and then changing the usernames back to the proper configuration and this time giving the correct username and password information in the query screens.
Thus it seems that the information provided in those username/password screens gets lost once you deactivate the account and it can only be re-entered if you "trick" it into asking by changing something in the account settings.
Let me know if there's any log or other info you need to further debug this.
