discuss on having some device-interfaces rules for harbour/android app

Hello everybody,

i don't really know, how will be the concept that the jolla team want to reach about the harbour/android/openrepos app activity on sfos. I'm not speak now as a good skilled person. I can just speak about my observation and about my fears. I know that if someone submit an app on harbour, it will be checked from jolla. I don't know how and what. And for a third part like android and openrepos, we should have a good trust on it i think. We don't know what the apps do. Sometimes i am surprised that something try to do something connect or access and comes a notification, so fast. I didn't really saw it. What's happen on my phone?

Now is my question: Regards on what is done on ios and android, is there planned to have a kind of interface rules for each app that we have installed on the phone? If we could set for example, this app could go on internet through wifi or not, could access to calendar or not, is able to write sms or not. I will be interested on a kind of system like this. Too control automatic access and action from apps.

Even if we pay a lot of attention, not to install some dangerous things, we are just humans, and other people are cleverer and smart enough to make their stupid business.

I want just to know first how is the jolla strategy, and maybe how other jolla user think or feat too.

Have a good sail
