Hi, I'm not sure if this needs an update in the phone app or if it can be done with a patch, but I think it would be useful to get possible contacts offered in a list when I type a number.
For Example: I open the phone app to type a number that I have written on paper but no name connected to it. Now when I type the first numbers the phone already can start filtering my contacts based on the numbers. So I can see if the contact is already known in my phone.
Of course the feature should be able to avoid country restrictions (simply ignore things like +34, +1, +49, +7 etc.) and compare only the actual phone number with the saved ones - to avoid seeing a number like +49-12345 (German number international format) as a different number then 0-12345 (national format).
I think actual Samsung Phones (or is it Android in that case) already support this, and I think I saw it also in Samsung Wave (Bada) Phones.
What do you think?
