I checked the settings for the new carrier. Is there a way to get more info than just the flashing text in the top of the view? What can I do now?

I checked the settings for the new carrier. Is there a way to get more info than just the flashing text in the top of the view? What can I do now?
edit: I know how to change the settings and was able to find the operator specific things to enter there. I was not able to connect to mobile data and I think this might be an operator issue but I would like to confirm it before calling the operator and would love to see a more verbose log detailing the nature of the problem. It seems silly that there are no other details than "Problem with connection". Like I know there is a problem, this is what I'm trying to solve here.
