After using my Jolla phone a while I still find some of the icons on the lock screen ambiguous. For example, every time the email envelope-icon appears I still have to quickly memorize what it stands for. In many other situations it refers to SMS.
I asked my friend, who hasn't much seen a Jolla before, what the envelope symbol standed for and she too couldn't tell it was used for email. @-symbol is so widely associated with email that I'd advocate adding it to the email notification icon. Or am I just too used to N9, which uses only the @ symbol?
Of course clever devs could revise some other notification icons too, for example SMS and chat icons which can be mistaken for each other easily as they both are bubbles. Chat icon would be more recognizable if it presented for example a third speech bubble. Do you come up with any ideas?
