My Jolla is completely dead or I still can do something?
Hi to all.
My phone is dead today :(
Black screen, not react to nothing. Removing battery not help, charging don't do nothing. Looks like a completely dead... (1.1.7.25)
What happened:
Yesterday evening I drove with Waze and BT/Tethering ON from "Car connection" app (~2 hours). All was OK.
At night I put my phone to charging and this morning all looked ok. When I drove to work I activated BT/Tethering ON from "Car connection" app again and saw it connected to my car without any problem. After 15 min, when I arrived, I noticed that screen is freezes and not react to nothing. After few seconds phone got black screen. I was thinking it just another unexpected reboot, but no... phone is not restarted, no boot loop, nothing...
What already tried:
1. Removing battery for more than 30 minutes - nothing
2. Charging - don't do nothing, looks like it not change at all...
3. Connect to PC - nothing
4. Long press on power button - nothing
5. Cleaning connectors in the phone and battery - nothing
6. Connecting charger to phone without battery - yellow led flashing once.
7. Trying to access to Recovery mode and like expected I can't (Vol down + Power).
Can I still do something or my phone is really dead?
Thanks.
EDIT:
Finally today (08.10.15) I've got my phone back !!!
Again BIG thanks to HtheB!
Now a lot of work to restore all my stuff...
How about charging battery with external charger or going to recovery mode?

Schturman ( 2015-08-07 11:46:44 +0200 )edit1) Remove battery for >30min. 2) What happens if you connect charger w/o battery plugged in (should flash yellowish...)? 3) Try to start in recovery mode (as mentioned above...) Good luck!
