any advice how to be able to send email? Have tried using normal smtp server (mail.kolumbus.fi) and authenticated server with settings that work with many other devices

No, now after the Naamankajärvi update I actually tried out setting smtp.auth.saunalahti.fi as outgoing mail server and IT WORKS! At least worked at home in Sonera ADSL over WiFi.

yes, I am trying to use saunalahti email with jolla client (please advice if some other decent one is available). I have elisa subscription and my home wlan is from Sonera. Following setting work in N9, Lumia 820, iPad, Ubuntu PC and Windows PC

Incoming: imaps.saunalahti.fi port 993 and outgoing: imaps.saunalahti.fi port 465 with authentication using my saunalahti username and password. I have ALSO tried

keeping phone in mobile network only and using both posti.saunalahti.fi and smtp.kolumbus.fi (should work in Elisa network). AND keeping it in WLAN and using mail.inet.fi, which both work in other devices except jolla...

I have also deleted account + recreated it and deleted application and reistalled it.

Which version of Sailfish do you have installed? Before Maadajävri update I had problems sending email in Kolumbus network, but after installing 1.0.2.5 works OK (smtp.kolumbus.fi, port 25).
