Backup doesn't work

Backup function doesn't work. When pressing backup symbol in settings it opens but shortly phone gives a message "settings is not responding" and nothing happens. Is there an alternative way to backup your phone eg. via terminal? I need to do factory reset due to unstable sailfish OS but need to perform backup first.

I have the Björnträsket 1.1.7.27 but this issue raised long before this update and suddenly.

I hope backups work again after the given answer by @Eminem.

That's the right answer. You need a File browser (available on Jolla store) and activate "show hidden files" to see the .vault folder. You could also use "Sailfish Utilities" to fix it.
