[Rumors] Jolla's upcoming non-phone device (A smartwatch?)

This month I read an interview in which Antti Saarnio from Jolla said they are going to make other devices than just phones and tablets. Today I read the 1.1.7 changelog, and I found this:

Support icons for watch and tablet-type devices.

So, I think Jolla (the device company, not the software one?) is working on a smartwatch (and a Sailfish port for existing Android smartwatches?) Also, see this video of NemoMobile&Glacier UI runnning on an Asteroid project smartwatch. Are Asteroid Project guys teaming up with Jolla by any change? :)

Edit: Oops, so the changlog thing is for watches in general. But that's doesn't unconfirm nor confirm the rumor. So, what do you guys think? Is Jolla's next non-phone/tablet device going to be a smartwatch, a toaster or what?

Edit: I was right! Look! SailfishOS on a smart watch, done in cooperation with the Asteroid Project guys!

I'd prefer to have the linux computer in my pocket that is able to communicate with an existing smartwatch/other device, eg bluetooth LE/ANT+

I would prefer a smart bluetooth headset.

I would prefer a hugely improved new jolla smartphone. That's all I need.

They don't make tablets, they only deliver them from stock.... It's rather alarming based on the T experience.... Is he looking for the fourth death valley

No, they choose the materials (design) and pay for the parts and the people who put them together (manufacturing). So, they don't really 'make' them, but seriously, they don't just take them from a readymade stockpile.

Hm, that changelog entry is in the sailfish-components-bluetooth-qt5 package:

[sailfish-components-bluetooth] Support icons for watch and tablet-type devices

I guess they're the icons that are shown in the bluetooth preferences alongisde the connected/found device labels.

Oh, oops :) But wait! An icon for connected smartwatch is needed for the Jolla's smartwatch as well, so at least this doesn't un-confirm the rumors.

haha indeed :) But I still hope they'll focus on a new phone rather than a watch :D

Well, Sailfish has been ported onto a smartwatch for sure, but they haven't got any official hardware yet. Just a demo port on existing Android Wear hardware
