[Idea] Face recognition/Display sleep
For reading etc it would be a nice feature if the display stays active as long as the front camera recognices a face. Could be even used to wake up the phone: human staring at display - activate homescreen ;-)

Stskeeps ( 2014-01-05 23:11:46 +0200 )editlol, afaik, there was another post like this, but it used the proximity sensor instead... perhaps a saner idea?
AL13N ( 2014-01-05 23:45:57 +0200 )editNot sure about power, as you can check only few seconds before you want to turn screen off and not all the time as well as i think there is such feature in android
ZogG ( 2014-01-05 23:49:11 +0200 )editIt's actually to track if person is staring into screen so it wouldn't turn off when you read something and you wouldn't need to re-open the screen lock. AFAIK on android they use your eyesight to turn pages — http://connect.dpreview.com/post/7262037350/galaxy-s4-eye-scroll
