[Idea] Face recognition/Display sleep

For reading etc it would be a nice feature if the display stays active as long as the front camera recognices a face. Could be even used to wake up the phone: human staring at display - activate homescreen ;-)

Technical comment: idea is nice, but boy, the power consumption to do that.. :)

lol, afaik, there was another post like this, but it used the proximity sensor instead... perhaps a saner idea?

Not sure about power, as you can check only few seconds before you want to turn screen off and not all the time as well as i think there is such feature in android

It's actually to track if person is staring into screen so it wouldn't turn off when you read something and you wouldn't need to re-open the screen lock. AFAIK on android they use your eyesight to turn pages — http://connect.dpreview.com/post/7262037350/galaxy-s4-eye-scroll
