Need help to restore homescreen [not relevant]

I made some mistake in terminal and now my home screen is partial ruined. Among others there isn't much left under Settings. Phone app, Peoples app, Gallery, Messenger, Store and some others are gone to.

I managed to open Patchmanager and it gave me this warning below. Problem is, there's no gui to set root password, and I don't know any other way to do it.

I need a way to get root, so I can run the zypper command. Please help!

can you logon through ssh and use devel-su?

edit: oh, sorry, I misunderstood, you can't set the root password for devel-su/ssh, right? It is probably possible to do this over the terminal of the phone, but I'm not sure how.

@shfit That's right, I can't set password for devel-su. There is no gui.
