Why I can add only 3 apps to lock screen launch? [too localized]

Installed Sailfish 2.0 today in my mobile phone and got few things, that I aint liking about.

Why I can add only 3 apps to lock screen launch? Bottom is waste of space also right now, we gotta get something there, so that I can save time. We are gonna make this easiest, fastest, and greatest operating system ever known to humankind. If I'm just gonna check 1 thing, I aint wanna swipe all over many times and then press something. I want it to happen right now, without any effort.

When I'm in home screen and I have some app(s) running, why I can't tap my 4 "shortcut" apps open from the below, but I have to swipe whole god damn apps screen from the below and only then I can see those 4 apps, which use to saw there all the time to see at the bottom?

Have had this only about an hour, but where the hell have my twitter updates gone? Why it use to showed only 10 tweets at the time, when I get like 10 tweets in 30 seconds, so there should be option available to choose how many tweets you wanna see?

Now theres only like 1 swipe, wheres notification screen comes on, but why cant I create my own notifications to different places. Like when you swipe from left to right, it shows email. from top to the bottom twitter and from right to left facebook and you could modify these things. Now we aint got no use for many swipes. You should make different actions for right upper corners and bottom corners also, so that I could do everything just swiping around. It's just waste to have 1 screen for notifications, which seems to show only emails and updates.

I should also be able to update notification screen, like in last version.

Black background for apps aint for me either. Before was better, when it contrasted with my theme.

It would also be cool, if Sailfish would change themes automatically, like Wallch does in my Ubuntu.

I aint wanna see no themes, when I swipe from top to the bottom. I just want it to lock. Now I got to do 50 % more work to lock my phone, cause I got to swipe and push, not only swipe. I aint wanna press, that button on the right corner. I just wanna swipe, swipe and swipe.

Sailfish is even more beautiful than before, but we still have few miles to sail, so keep it coming fellas. I love swiping, but now I just aint have enough to swipe.

Check out Quickbar application (from openrepos for now, soon in Harbour); it allows adding more than 4 favourites and provides most recently used and most frequently used lists! :)

Please don't make rambling posts like this. Instead open separate issues dedicated to specific problems or upvote existing ones if there are any. Makes it much easier (and even possible in the first place) to track issues and follow the discussion & jolla's involvement.

It turns out pulley menus with more than 3 items become exponentially more difficult to use so there's the reason for that limitation. Yes it should be easily possible to allow adding more entries to the lockscreen menu but that'd be allowing the user to shoot themselves in the foot, which is rarely a good idea.

The 4 apps at the bottom of the homescreen when nothing is running are just hints to show new users where the app grid is. While I did use those shortcuts a bit myself this change doesn't bother me much as I usually absent-mindedly first opened the app grid anyway.

As for tweet & fb notifications, the release notes specifically mention that these have been disabled while jolla is implementing proper support for those accounts, since the old facebook API was shut down etc.

I don't know what you mean with black app backgrounds; you'll have to be a bit more specific.

The notification view also displays upcoming calendar entries, text messages, missed calls, weather etc... Anyway multiple configurable screens is an idea deserving its own post. And the new pull-down menu has been criticised in many posts, please upvote those instead of creating yet another one about it, maybe add a comment if you feel like it.

All in all I like the new look&feel but I agree it has some regressions compared to the old "flow".

Calm seas & sail on.
