SFOS 2.0 for major phone and tablet manufacturers [subjective]
I'm wondering about the priority of the sailfisos development.
From my point of view the SFOS is still not a finished product, still in progress. For example the lack of changing font sizes to make thing for everyone readable. The missing feature in the browser to select text or tap to zoom with reformatting, so things fits on the screen. Or the E-Mail app, unable to zoom plain text mails, urls not readable in plain text mails, html mails don't break the lines after tap to zoom. It is not possible to even do such simple things like sharing a plain text file over bluetooth, open it and copy the text to the clipboard. Still no WPS for WLAN passphrases (mine is about 128 digits). Some strange behavior if my carrier offers only data roaming, but no GSM roaming, just still not working.
The Jolla team advertisement stands for protecting the user privacy and security, but there is still no PGP or OTR support. The email app does not shows up the plain url before opening from html mails (phising risk). In the plain text mails the url's anyway not readable, because they have the color scheme from the ambient, but displayed on white background instead the other use of the color scheme elements.
And a lot of small things I cannot remember now.
So I'm just wondering why they using month of man power to redesign the UI and develop a new device? Is this the right time? How they will find major phone or tablet manufacturers with just an unfinished system? Disappointing some of their existing phone users just after such short lifetime of this OS. Hopefully their will continuous sailing and not gonna sink with this decision.

As SailfishOS is a Linux flavour (its first asset IMHO), the toolbox is inexhaustible. Now it's up to the development teams to integrate it. AND THIS SHOULD BE THEIR TOP PRIORITY.
