Anyway to see photos from android emulator in native gallery?

If you can change the path where the photo is stored, then there's a simple way. The Jolla tracker will find photos from the android_storage/Pictures -folder but not in it's subfolders for some reason.

I use Pixlr to get some effects to photos every now and then and I noticed that the default save path wasn't discoverable by tracker, so the images wouldn't show up in the Gallery. I changed the save path to ../android_storage/Pictures/ and after that I was able to see the pictures in the Gallery App.

PS. I think it's a good thing that the tracker doesn't go through the folders recursively in android_storage because this would end up in a situation with the Gallery full of thumbnails and temp images from all Android apps.

@raketti, BTW it would be nice to cut folders with music files off the tracker - I don't see any purposes of displaying album covers among the photos of my wife and my cat :)

@kandelabra, there's a "simple" manual workaround for that. If you open the folder in a file manager (don't know it this is possible with the file managers available for Jolla, or if you need to do it via USB/SSH connection with your PC) and add a file called .nomedia to there, the tracker will skip the folder.

@raketti But it will prevent tracker from scanning music files, wouldn't it?

@kandelabra it will only skip the folder where the file is, so if you put it to~/Music the yes, the tracker would skip the whole directory. So, actually, I just realised that the only way not to index the album covers is to remove them, thus removing them from the Media Player, unless they are embedded to the audio files - don't know if the Jolla Media Player can handle such covers.
