Can't update to 2.0.0.10

  • On attempt to install update the following message appears: 'не удалось определить размер обновления' in Russian (should be something like 'unable to determine the size of the update' in English).
  • During update installation progress bar behaves itself weird - it growth then shrinks, then growth again etc.

Is anybody here confronted such an issue?

update: I've tried 'pkcon update' and got the following error:

Fatal error: File './armv7hl/gstreamer0.10-omx-0.1.0-10.9.4.jolla.armv7hl.rpm' not found on medium 'https://store-repository.jolla.com/releases/2.0.0.10/jolla-hw/adaptation-qualcomm-sbj/armv7hl/?credentials=store'

So looks like server-side issue for me, but this of course doesn't explain why others have no such an issue...

Got this problem just now when at first I was able to update to 2.0.0.10, but for whatever reason after updating (to 2.0.0.10) the phone was offered with "another" update that was possible for me to install, which I did, and after "updating" the phone had actually reverted to 1.1.9.30(??).

And now I seem to be unable to download the 2.0.0.10 version because of this very problem, what a bummer.

Did you manage to solve the issue? I'm still waiting for reply from zendesk trying to re-initiate update from time to time, but nothing helped so far...

Haven't been able to solve it on my own. I have an additional problem (apparently) with the Jolla Store, I'm unable to install Developer mode because of error "Problem with Store: Could not install jolla-developer-mode" during the installation. So in this case I can not even test with some command line magic.

Did you see this comment already? Be sure to try that solution out. Just mind what @schmittlauch is saying in his disclaimer :)

Oh yeah, I also submitted a request to Zendesk yesterday.

Not sure because of what, but something changed today on the server side. Now I'm 'pkcon update' shows different error: 'Authentication failed (is SSU set up correctly?)' instead of 'File './armv7hl/gstreamer0.10-omx-0.1.0-10.9.4.jolla.armv7hl.rpm' not found on medium 'https://store-repository.jolla.com/releases/2.0.0.10/jolla-hw/adaptation-qualcomm-sbj/armv7hl/?credentials=store''.

So I tried one more time to install 2.0.0.10. Which failed again. I decided to check the logs and found possible reason:

Oct 26 14:40:52 Jolla-ai packagekitd[3158]: Needs authentication: https://store-repository.jolla.com/features/2.0.0.10/customers/jolla/armv7hl/ Oct 26 14:40:53 Jolla-ai packagekitd[3158]: Needs authentication: https://store-repository.jolla.com/features/2.0.0.10/customers/jolla/armv7hl/ Oct 26 14:40:54 Jolla-ai packagekitd[3158]: Needs authentication: https://store-repository.jolla.com/features/2.0.0.10/customers/jolla/armv7hl/

Has been reported here: https://together.jolla.com/question/114727/jolla-tablet-update-fails/ Was a server problem, maybe in conjunction with Jolla account. Write a report to zendesk, they have helped me very fast
