I buy Jolla in september & at first I update phone to new SailfishOS 1.1.9. Only after than i begin to configured it. Day to day my phone works slowly, sometimes rebooted, sometimer native apps disapears & relanch ina start. Main problem - every day I have a moment when phone work very slow. And battery died less than a day. May be its normal? Or I have some problem? One more important things - when I buy a phone - I istall many apps to test, which can use in a future. After then i delete non use apps. Now I have connected in native apps:

Maybe it's just How I have been using smart-phones but isn't this a little bit overboard? About 100 apps (assuming a few of them running in background) that is eating resources. Maybe the question to ask here is who else is using an extensive amount of apps and do they share the same problem. Myself I use 33 apps, except for 2 all native sailfish OS and my phone lasts for 2 days on battery easy and it feels lightning fast.

Tjikko - thanks. You use last version of Sailfish?

Do you use XMPP or other messenger integration with Sailfish (anything that uses the 'presence' setting)?

Your contactsd is chewing battery, which mine also used to do with a large amount of XMPP contacts (facebook).

i use facebook - 800 contacts + skype(but now its not work) - 100 contacts

btrfs fi df /

Due a btrfs design fault it seems to be that the meta and or the filesystem is running full of space. And this cause the filesystem full error and a havy performance leak. Unfortunally the balancer who prevent this problem is not running or not running probably.

Now your Phone should be faster than before. If not, pls repeate the balancer until it return no balancing required

btrfs-balancer balance

Ohh, now i see. Your contactsd is going wild and skype contacts are not working?

Remove Skype account / App and test if your device is now better. contactsd should not using so much cpu. Seems to try to sync and can´t, hanging at a loop and drive your jolla crazy
