I have Sony SBH-80 bluetooth headset and it is not working with my Jolla phone. The headset works with other phones and Jolla Bluetooth works with other bluetooth devices so hardware is fine. To my knowledge, there is no way to add a new bluetooth device, all devices must be discovered.

Is that true or is there a way to manually add a device to see if pairing is then successful?

I have the latest Saimaa build on the phone.

I don't own a phone, so I can just tell, whats possible via the UI. But as a linux, you can pair it via commandline?

Have a look at the SailPi project. I wrote a tutorial on how to pair devices. SailPi blog

Life saving answer!

Just ran the 2.1.1.24 (but I think it got 'broken' before). I used to have a pairing with my Logitech K810 keyboard and for Linux I use bluetoothctl for pairing, but that's not available on the Jolla1 and Tablet. Had to repair but by no means could find the passkey that I need to enter on the keyboard. Yet your manual helped me out.

Thanx!
