Hello, K9 refused to open contacts every time I want to add an email adress from contacts. After a short error message that says contacts has been quit, it brings me back from new mail to inbox. Debug log whilst reproducing the error gave these lines among others:

W/ResourceType( 3074): getEntry failing because entryIndex 291 is beyond type entryCount 131 W/ResourceType( 3074): Failure getting entry for 0x7f020123 (t=1 e=291) in package 0 (error -2147483647) D/ContactsProvider( 1612): Not allow to access native contacts!

The complete protocoll is very long but I dumped it to a file, so I have it if anybody wants to have look on it. I have absolutely no clue why this problem occures. But maybe it has something to do with the permissions K9 has accesing contacts? So I wonder if anybody else have the same problem. Maybe somebody have a good advice or even a solution for my problem

Thank you

What app do you use to display and manage contacts on alien-dalvik then? By default there is none, if I'm not mistaken. It will not work with the SailfishOS native one...

Hi, I use the native one that came with Sailfish and I would prefer to keep it. Is there a way to make them work together?

Thank you very much, that was it. Changed settings, everything works perfect.

@DominikHagenmaier Sorry if I'm being Captain Obvious here, but did you allow access to Sailfish contacts for Android apps in system settings?
