Native Jodel app [too localized]
Hi,
What would you think about a native Jodel app? Is it possible or not? I think it would be great with some more native apps.
Best regards.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

The app isn't used solely in Germany (I know people in Finland who use it). Also imho asking for native versions for any app should never be discouraged for any reason. Not even if the app has small, very limited and tightly localized userbase, because it might be the deal breaker app preventing them from switching to SFOS and it can open new possibilities to existing SFOS users.
avhakola ( 2018-03-03 23:09:21 +0200 )It is mainly used in Germany. I actually miss it on SFOS myself but I doubt there are many SFOS users, who know it or are interested in it and it seems like there arent enough german IT students, who use SFOS. :)
makarch ( 2018-03-03 23:26:45 +0200 )As there is an unofficial jodel client for windows, it shouldn't be too difficult to build a client for SFOS. i also would like to see it.

I second this request just because of the name of the app!
tortoisedoc ( 2015-11-19 14:00:34 +0200 )Just ask the Students who made this app, I don't think this App is Open Source or there is an API, but I also may be wrong. :)
Alex ( 2015-11-19 15:41:40 +0200 )This thing really exists, but turns out to be just another social media app (despite its "cool" name).
olf ( 2018-03-04 15:08:38 +0200 )It does exist, who said it doesnt?
Yes, its a social media app. For me its a bit like a guilty pleasure.
