how to: get reception time of sms

Hello Sailors,
for two days i had a strange behaviour with sms, in a strange situation of roaming.
On Friday, i had no problem to get some receptions and communications.
And the day after was the contrary. Phone had no provider.
Even if i try to find a better place, tried to restart the phone.Nothing help.
After a new restart, i saw i get an other provider as the day before, and get a welcome message for the roaming situation.
Really strange, after some days in this place, and having already some sms and communications on days before.
Anyway, the problem was, i sent an sms to my family, try to have contact.
And get an answer much more later, with a date of a sooner time.
And next day i saw one, which has a date time of yesterday, but at a time that was for me impossible to receive.
I'm just curious how could we get the receive time of the sms, and not the delivery one.
Knows someone in which type of file they are stored?
Where those files could be placed?
