Write an open letter to "the" investor [not relevant]

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.
Jolla has written an open letter to us.
Their death valley is due to a withdrawal of an investor. maybe "the " investor".
So why not TJC write an Open letter to this investor?
I mean the Community, not really jolla.
I have currently no source, but as i understood. Jolla made some mistake on the process to develop and deploy the tablet, which didn't satisfied the investor. And that could be understandable
And for my part, i'm convinced that jolla is a small startup, which is young, clever and dynamic. Learns from its own mistakes.
So it would be more acceptable if we could make a nice letter to this one.
Explains on what we believe, our convictions and why we made investment on it.
The questions like, who he is? how could we reach him at best for that? are Currently not relevant, but are important for the next step
Who could use his best english for this? (mine is not recommended for such an exercise).
What do you think about it?
Even if it could not works, it would be a nice try i think.
And 10% chance to aim, that is anyway 10% chance to have a success....
personally when i engage myself on a business, before it I have made an analysis of market and a strategy.
cemoi71 ( 2015-11-24 13:54:31 +0200 )editthen it is really bullshit to withdraw it
i'm curious what are the reason of the withdraw.
cemoi71 ( 2015-11-24 13:56:28 +0200 )edit@cemoi71, In business it's usually high risk and/or low-potential. The facts revealed at SLUSH clearly scared that investor away.
Okw ( 2015-11-24 14:03:33 +0200 )editWell, if you are the single investor and the company you invested in brags about raising 50M in funding (Jolla adventures) and opens an incubator for others, basically selling you to potential startups instead of delivering a product I can somehow relate to him not being amused.
lispy ( 2015-11-24 14:13:58 +0200 )editbusiness is business! right ! but don't forget, we as customers make the business possible.
cemoi71 ( 2015-11-24 14:21:36 +0200 )editthat's our money!
Maybe i'll invest nothing to this one directly
maybe just by making compliment.
i don't ask that jolla do it. but we! user, potential customers of this investor. the one at last who had indirectly let us dream. and now could make it impossible.
and a nice letter could make some situation good. and a bad compliment could make its business bad....
