I've downloaded a couple of APKs to install on a fresh install of Sailfish. When I try to open the file, I get the message: no application to open the file xgd-open found no preferred application. I'm using a Nexus 5. Is there anything special I need to do that I must have missed in the docs?

The Android support is only available for Jolla phones.

There are efforts to bring Android support to other phones too, see for example https://together.jolla.com/question/126456/could-shashlik-solve-the-lack-of-alien-dalvik-for-ports/ but I don't know if that's really usable at the moment.
