Closing as a duplicate. This issue can be discussed at https://together.jolla.com/question/7144/jolla-randomly-shuts-down/

I have had som unexpected crashed recently. Usually when in a android application. Phone dies and I have to take out the battery for it to boot again. Otherwise the phone dies again during "Jolla" boot logo.

Experienced the behaviour twice in three weeks now. Were not able to to find any correlation so far. Btw anyone knowing where logs and dumps are?

Used the Android version of Dropbox to auto upload some photos. Had a lot of Wifi issuea disconneing and connectiong again. After a while the phone started beeping with one beep every 30 sec or so. It was a beep sound I've never heard before from this phone. Next time I looked at my phone it was dead and at first it didn't ract to anything. Finally it started reacting but then it behaved just like nebukan explained. Had to take out the batter to get it started again.

What version of Sailfish are we talking about here?

I have the same problem also with the latest software, the phone crashes while using android apps and needs a long press on the power button or sometimes a battery removal in order to recover.
