[bug] WiFi icon on home screen grays out when swiping down from top or up from bottom [released]
When swiping from the left or right side, whether the option to directly go to Events by swiping from the left is enabled or not, the WiFi icon on the home screen / events screen always properly indicates the current connection strength. However, when swiping down from the top or up from the bottom, the icon indicates the correct connection strength for a second but then turns completely gray, as if the connection was very bad. This happens when you are on the home screen or events screen and open the application launcher, then swipe from the top or the bottom to get out of the application launcher again - to see the icon turn gray, you have to hold the position for a second. As soon as you release your finger from the screen so the application launcher moves away, the icon starts indicating the correct connection strength again.
Another way you can see this is when you have the option enabled to close an application by swiping from the top, just swipe down from the top but hold that position for a second, and the icon will turn gray. Here as well, once you finish the movement and you're back on the home screen, the icon indicates the correct connection strength again.
100% reproducible.
I noticed it also happens when you exit the application launcher by just swiping down anywhere on the screen (if you're on the first/top page of the application launcher, of course).
