Possibility to install .rpm apps via settings [answered]
For now it is only possible with a file manager or with a trick (see below).
It would be nice if it would be possible to install the apps directly from the "transfers".

Open the store, swipe it to background, go to transfers in settings, click the rpm, swipe to background and reopen the store. voila, should give you the install screen.

I really can't remember if I was able to before. But no I can't install .rps apps via settings neither.
Mariusmssj ( 2014-01-09 22:10:42 +0300 )Why do you up this post? The answer can be marked as accepted but there is nothing to add.
Sthocs ( 2014-01-16 09:50:26 +0300 )Below trick works, but it is not obvious for user to do it that way. I added 'feature-request' tag so that this is a feature request (sideloading via Transfer UI without any tricks). If you are not happy with this, you close too and/or write a new issue.
Jukka ( 2014-01-16 09:58:17 +0300 )I agree that's a good feature-request, but then yes the question should be either totally updated (title + description) or closed and reopened as a real request.
Sthocs ( 2014-01-16 13:43:30 +0300 )Feel free to do either :)
