News from Jolla, see Jolla tablet closure

  1. Ship remaining Tablets to Indiegogo backers: we will ship 540 units as soon as we can starting from February.

  2. Refund the remaining Indiegogo contributors: Jolla aims to refund the total contribution, including shipping and all accessories.

Finally, a decision

Sucks for development, I think. Not many people will want to develop for a tablet that hardly anyone has? Or am I completely wrong here?

well at least an official statement but I would also prefer the option to order the tablet still. Best message is that really many will get a refund.

i don't think it must be the last word on sailfish os on tablets. yes, there will be only a few "jolla tablets" around, but hey, who says that sailfish os will never be ported to some google tablets... there was even an incomplete nexus 7 port of 1.x... So i think i will code for it if i'm one of the lucky 540...
