Will upgrade to 64 GB affect your position in line for the tablet?

I was wondering this and could not find any answer. Say you are among the first couple of hundred backers AND has upgraded to 64 GB, is this what you will get if you get a tablet? I am suspecting that only 32 GB versions exist, so would this leave the 64 GB upgraders with nothing? Are the 540 units being shipped 32 GB only? Because I would rather have a 32 GB tablet than none at all.

I appreciate any insight anyone might have.

drummer12 is right: If anything, it's more likely that having payed for 64GB increases your chance to get a tablet. In the first wave, only 64GB models were shipped. Most likely this is because only the 64GB models were produced - and I highly doubt that for the new wave in February they'll actually produce new devices. It's probably 64GB tablets from the same production run as before. So my speculation is that only 64GB tablets will be shipped to those who upgraded, while the 32GB-backers will have to be content with a refund.

Thanks for your replies! Hopefully, for my case at least, you will be right.

But at least some 32 GB units have been produced, as I have seen some in reviews and articles (see e.g. here). Are these perhaps part of the initial developer batch?
