Flash content will stop working for example in Chromium -browser on Linux OS's from this April, it has been announced.

Well, Google are to drop support for the ‘Netscape Plugin API’ (NPAPI) – used by Adobe Flash – on Linux builds of Chrome/ium etc. far sooner than was originally planned. -This according to OMG! Ubuntu!

My question is, will this affect to Jolla's own default web-browser? HTML5 is coming, but many places such as Youtube require Adobe Flash still on huge part.

I think,that many Webistes like Youtube does with Youtube/Html5 will provide html5 support in near future ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Jolla native browser doesn't support Flash even now - so this shouldn't affect it in any way.

I don't even know what NPAPI has to do with Adobe Flash for Android. Anyway, I've never really used Flash on my Android phones or Jolla. I've tried it out of curiosity to see how it works and the experience is not so good on a mobile device.

I have Firefox and Opera installed on my phone, and neither manage any video on Youtube, but Jolla's native does though. FF gives just full black screen, and Opera "connection problem" -when clicking a video. I'd love to have any clarification on this..

Some YouTube videos are optimized for mobile devices and do not require Flash. Also many YouTube videos can be played with HTML5 supported browsers (also mobile).

HTML5? Opera plays videos from both YouTube and Vimeo mobile sites quite well, with fullscreen mode and playback controls. Maadajävri fixed a lot of the audio sync problems. Sailfish browser's implementation is primitive, no fullscreen, no seek slider, and Vimeo mobile redirects to desktop site.

@LinuxJollaIRC Problem with Opera's video streaming might be related to general connection problems with Android apps. Try the 2 ways described here in the "Known issues" section.
