WhatsApp update

I cannot update the newest one. It stops at 24% and tells me that my internet ain't working, -even tho I can update every other app and elsewhere it works just fine. Also deleted the whole app and treid to re-install but it ain't working. Anyone else facing the same problem?
Tried to google it a bit and found out that WhatsApp is ending it's support (at the end of 2016) on some phone platforms. (Direct link to blog: https://blog.whatsapp.com/10000617/WhatsApp-support-for-mobile-devices) Will it affect Jolla and could there be something to do with newest update not working for me?
First guess : Disk space?

Try other IM platforms, e.g. telegram.org there are well written 3rd party client apps for SFOS, the only difficult bit is to convince your friends to use telegram too!
