The last batch of official Jolla Tablets are being shipped and there are some people who have changed their minds about wanting one. Someone in the blog comment section suggested we make a list here of people who want to buy one. Let's do it.

If you want to buy a second hand official Jolla Tablet, comment to this post and after that write your name to the list. Also write down the date and time of that comment in GMT. If you have announced your will to buy a Tablet in Jolla Blog or Together before, put your name and date and time of that announcement to the list and post a link to it as a comment. First announcement = First place on the list. It might also be a good idea to leave some contact info in case potential seller is reading the list ;).

@eson, no. This was suggested by a user in the comment section of the newest blog post. If someone gets invitation to get the Tablet and doesn't want it, of course next one in the original line (next pledge number) gets it.

This post is for situations where someone has already got the Tablet but doesn't want it anymore and wants to sell it forward. And this is just my suggestion how to do it. If many people want to sell, it's easy if the list of potential buyers is visible somewhere. No-one is obliged to follow this list of course.

@Julius, I can add your name to the list, since your karma isn't enough to edit wiki. Are you backer or other?

Hi folks,

I'm selling my 32GB Jolla Tablet that I imported from China to UK in February 2016 from "that" Taobao seller who had genuine stock at the time. I thought I'd offer it for sale here before putting it on eBay. I used Yoybuy as an agent (great experience with them) and paid UK import duty when it arrived. It is still in excellent condition and fully functional - the seller included a slightly creased screen protector which I applied as soon as I unwrapped it (though not very well because there are still bubbles). It has only been used lightly, perhaps only a handful of times. There are a few very light marks on the back plastic that can only be seen when tilting the tablet in bright light - so light they'll be impossible to photograph. It comes with the original box, box contents and wrapping but I don't have a case for it unfortunately. Sailfish works as expected as does the Android functionality. It is currently running the most recent early access release 2.0.2.48 but I suspect that when I reset it to factory defaults, the firmware will revert to the original shipped version (I won't know until I try).

If anyone is interested, let me know. Make me an offer! I'd prefer to ship to Europe only but am open to suggestions. I will post photos etc if there is any genuine interest.

Cheers,

Joe

Tablet from that seller reverts to Eineheminlampi after a factory reset.

I would be interested in buying your tablet - I'm based in the UK. I originally ordered through indiegogo but wasn't fortunate enough to get one. 1st half refund received earlier this year/

I'd be interested as well, how can we make you an offer? (seems tjc doesn't support pm)

Hi @ajp233, @tad, Thank you both for your interest. I've been really busy recently so apologies for not replying sooner. I've not had chance to organise the sale yet - I haven't taken any photos etc but I will do this weekend and I'll post a link and a way to contact me. Don't go away! :)

Hello guys!

As long as we wait for the Chen's gr8 Yoyota SailfishOS Tablet, there is a possibility to purchase an Jolla Tablet Clone, Aigo x86 in China. Aigo x86 is based on the same ODM Reference Design and has 98% the same HW as Jolla Tablet.

All infos in my maemo.org tread:

Afaik Jolla JT-1501 has more internal storage, bigger battery and better camera, but other than that the internals should be somewhat similar...

Thank you very much. My order is on the way.

magullo ( 2017-04-18 18:45:39 +0300 )edit

@avhakola: Internal Storage is 16GB (Jolla Tablet = 32/64GB), Battery and Camera are absolutely the same, i can share you pictures from Inside of an Jolla Tablet and Aigo X86

ExPLIT ( 2017-04-20 12:03:25 +0300 )edit

Can't be sure about the cameras, but according to http://www.gizchina.com/2015/02/09/aigo-x86-cheap-intel-tablet-retina-display-miui/ Aigo X86 has 4300mAh battery while according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolla_Tablet JT-1501 has 4450 mAh battery and if you look at motherboard pictures at https://reviewjolla.blogspot.fi/2016/02/jolla-tablets-in-china.html you can see there are less components (or at least they are in different order) around and under of the power management circuit (AXP288 printed on top) on Aigo X86.

Hello!

I will put to your attention this link on the site jolla-devices.com (a blog on devices, not controlled or affiliated by Jolla, ed) https://store.jolla-devices.com/negozio/aigo-tablet/link text in next 2 days there is a buying group format at 159€.

Before to buy consider that:

  • Aigo Tablet is not the Jolla Tablet which you have ordered time ago, with the logo, crafted packaging etc... it's differently coloured, and different Chinese pack
  • it share the same hardware base, and it suffer from the same issues of JT (standby drain, Android 4...)
  • the delivery will be at end of March. By placing an order you are ordering a physical item, which just need to be imported, and flashed.

Thanks

Update. Placing the order yesterday, the Chinese contact say that is out of stock. I suppose that the remaining stock of Aigos was bought in block by a Chinese ebay seller...

The "Aigo tablet era" may be finished.

thanks for trying

Pawel, you're the one in the list! Thanks

There may be a stock in RU but there are the sanctions, and another CN but both are overpriced...

minojolla ( 2019-03-02 10:35:24 +0300 )edit

Another update. J-D found other 3 sources for this Aigo Tablet. Info on the device topic: https://jolla-devices.com/aigo-tablet/. This sources are a bit overpred, considering are not imported, and are Android-stock devices.
