Sailfish OS on Nexus 5X / Virtual machine upgrade
Here is the story, I loved my Jolla phone, especially the UI, despite a dead speaker making me miss phonecalls :D. But when you're designing mobile apps, the market reality is that you need Android and unfortunately 4.1 is really to old. Lots of SDK don't work, and I can't demo the app we're developing on my own phone, that's kind of silly.
So I end up with a nice phone but a poor UI... I know lots of dev adapt Sailfish OS to other phone, so my question is would anyone have adapted it for Nexus 5X ? A dual boot would be the perfect solution for me.
Alternatively, could anyone give a CLEAR information on the plan of virtual machine upgrade ? (I would even prefer a no that no information on this point).
Thanks to all
Nexus 5 is already supported by a community port. See for yourself - the steps to install SFOS: https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris/Install_SailfishOS_for_hammerhead
