Please contact me if anyone wants to transfer his subscription. My first Jolla phone broke down recently and I cannot update or test my apps any more. Thank you.

There's plenty of jolla phones available second hand, also.

I'm sorry you missed it. But check out http://talk.maemo.org/forumdisplay.php?f=27 where you can often find used Jolla phones. Not sure what you mean with the 'one hour window', but it took 7h until the community device program was sold out.

I was lucky enough to order one before it was too late. If you are an active developer, I think my Jolla C would maybe be better with you than with me. I don't know how to proceed to transfer my order to you. Can you tell me? Or maybe Jolla might help?

Hello.

According to the info we have, community members and developers were given a heads up.

We are sorry if this did not get through to you.

Did anyone get a heads-up?

I submitted a zendesk ticket to transfer my subscription. Only two options available:

  1. Cancel my order
  2. Confirm my order and resell my device when delivered

Just modifying/refunding my order and offering @inte an order form not possible :-(

I only read about the device yesterday morning through jolla-developers mailing list and ordered it at around 14:00 Uhr.

@accumulator, it was posted to the Sailfish Developers Mailing List multiple times before the launch, if you're a developer then you should get on it :)

would be great if someone does so. actually i think it would be great if the c would be reserved for developers. actually thats why i did not order one yesterday- so the programmers of all these great apps - like inte can do so. sad to see that probably just fanboys who came first got one. that want bring any plus for sailfish. should have been done like with the nokia n950.

Exactly. I saw the announcement a couple of minutes after subscription started, and had ample opportunity to reserve a JollaC for myself. But I thought that it would be inappropriate, because I do not develop Sailfish apps, so I decided that some actual developer deserves this phone more than me.

How nice, what heroes . . . . seriously . . . . the speed things happen with Jolla I doubt there's a thousand dev's on the planet, I certainly wouldn't have felt bad, but then again, I won't spend any more money on a device put out by Jolla with even less support, and with unknown durability, than the last one, I'm sure the OP will be thanking his lucky stars he kept his hard earned in his wallet when the forum's full of complaints and broken devices that the people then realise only had a 14 day money back warranty. . . . . . . .

My first instinct was to order one immediately as well. Particularly I was triggered by the dual SIM option. Then I realised there are more deserving community members out there that really would be better suited to get one of these babies :) Still I am interested to get one and maybe dip my feet into developing after all. Just where to I find the time :) ?

According to today's press release, the program could be extended after its success yesterday:

"As the Sailfish OS licensing is expanding, the role of an active community gets even bigger. We are now investigating if we can extend the program beyond this.”

If you cannot get your hands on a c by the time they're delivered, I donate my jolla one to you...
