when you have no ambience selected you still have to press a button to lock the phone...would be nice to have the ambiences menù if ambiences are set as preferites (like how is it now) and to have a swype to lock when no ambience is set...after all is a feature all of people miss :)

I agree, this function + quick silence of the phone (which was btw promised to come back at the end of 2015. it is still on roadmap) are the functions I missed the most. And yes I know I can use ambience for that but I don't want to and it is something that was working perfectly fine with SFOS 1. I'm using patches for both functions but it is not ideal solution especially for official updates.

obvioulsy i was talking about not using a patch...there are lot of people that prefer to have that reintegrated with the system... :)

Doesn't work

@okourkoulos Of course it does, I'm using it all the time.

You'll need to activate it in Patchmanager, and "restart preloaded services".

It would be nice to see it (re)integrated into Sailfish OS, but for the time being there is a patch called "restore swipe to lock" which restores the ability to lock with the top down gesture. It even works with having ambiences in the lock menu.

Hi, regarding to this question and also your other question , I have a perfect solution. Powermenu2 in Ambience switcher by @coderus. There is so much more you can do with this patch. The best part is that you can swype-to-close, get fast access to Action Center and still be able to switch your fav ambiences. Hav fun :)

No patch for powermenu can be applied for me in 2.0.2.45. I really need swipe to lock!
