It can be considered as a minor bug, but should be fixed for foolproofing the home screen.

To reproduce on phone, you should have installed patches to allow home screen in landscape:

  1. Open multiple apps and put the device in landscape mode;

  2. Long press on home to activate the edit mode;

  3. Rotate the device to portrait.

As you can see in the screenshots, the side covers (apps no. 1, 5, 6) will get hidden, unable to quit or move. Of course closing the edit mode will fix it.

I am on 2.0.2, but I guess it's reproducible on previous versions too.

It will be appreciated if anybody can try to reproduce it on the tablet.

Edit mode in landscape

The same apps in portrait

Doesn't seem to be reproducible on tablet.

I think it's a bit strange to report a bug that can only possibly happen if you have manually tampered with system files.

@nthn, you're right. But I thought it might be reproducible on the tablet too.
