Startup: I selected german and then did the fix clicking for leaving the tutorial. Device talks english then. I needed to change to english and then german again
No btrfs anymore: tried to mount a prepared btrfs sdcard. No btrfs tools, no modules. This fs is nice for sdcards
~~cannot index music on sdcard (ext4 formatted)~~
starting gpodder for the first time: no sound, works after reboot.

forgot how to switch on the low power lock screen (again). mce-tool thingy. Is there a link for it anywhere?

[addition] Is it true that you do not have a search engine in the browser selectable unless you install the search engines for sailfish (Openrepos!!) by coderus? It is interesting to install a clean machine - there are too bugs you do not see with an old running system!

[another addition] weather app: How can I change my main location (which is shown in events)? I entered the english name of a city and want to have the german expression now (which has slightliy different weather in Foreca??!!).

ahem, forget the not working indexing: I forgot to copy music on the sdcard. No music, no indexing. Shame on me...

Another thing: btrfs: I formatted the sd blank (not in a partition). This also failed for ext4 but because btrfs-progs were not installed I asumed that there is no btrfs. Please stay tuned - I try it again. But because I do not have enough sds around I need to do some rsync jobs.

Are you thinking about the low power mode sneak peak? If so, here's the command...

pkcon update
pkcon install mce-tools
mcetool --set-low-power-mode=enabled

Open weather app and add a new location (this time with the right name).
Long tap the new location and make it current location.
Long tap the incorrect location and remove it.

Yes, that is true, but if you don't want to install patches, you can make/get your prefered search engine xml file and place it in...

/usr/lib/mozembedlite/chrome/embedlite/content/

...then you'll have your option.

Thank you for all descriptions. They all work - though: If you had selected Lisbon and change to Lisboa nothing happens for me. You need to enter another city delete e. g. "Lisbon" then select Lisboa and make it default.

Thanks for commands to enable the "low power mode sneak peak" - I was just looking for that (also very pleased that it works also in Jolla C)
