I have installed the Sonos app (via amazon store) and it is working very well. One minor issue is that the sonos app is not displaying the option to play music from the mobile device. I'm wondering whether the Android environment could be changed to have such a functionality present. (I'm well aware that this would likely be only the Music available to the Android environment)

It turns out that a reboot fixed it. It seems that the sonos app requires at least some music to be around in the android environment to display the 'Muisc on this Mobile Device' option. Note however that the music from the jolla environment is not shown under sonos.
Edit: Actually, it is the otherway round: Music is correctly shown from the Sailfish OS, I just had only ogg files available and those are not recognized by Sonos.
