What exactly does double-tapping the power button do on a Jolla1? mcetool says

Powerkey press from display on:
    single blank,tklock
    double blank,tklock,devlock,vibrate
    long dbus1
Powerkey press from display of:
    single unblank
    double unblank,tkunlock,dbus2
    long (none)
Powerkey D-Bus action 'dbus1': send signal with arg 'power-key-menu'
Powerkey D-Bus action 'dbus2': send signal with arg 'double-power-key'

but I have no clear idea what "tklock, devlock, vibrate" means. Are there other options I can configure it to do, apart from the ones I read here?

Double-press unlocks the phone immediatly, skipping lockscreen Also second press after locking the phone makes a vibration -- confirming that phone has locked

Thanks! Any idea what "devlock" means?

So why is it there only for double-tap? Apart from the vibration, single-tap and double-tap seem functionally identical to me at a first glance.

@Federico Stupid question but I'll ask anyway... do you have the device lock enabled?

@Sthocs - oh, ok, now I see. No, I don't have the device lock (password on wake-up). Sorry, the stupid question was mine. :)

it's configuration for your powerkey, it does same things you trying to do with mcetool manually
