Don't turn on the display when new e-mail arrives
I am trying to achieve the following: I want my Jolla C to synchronize with my e-mail account and display the presence of new mails in the notifications (no problem here). But I don't want the phone to actively draw my attention to asynchronous communication like e-mail.
I don't want the phone to
- Activate led notification for new mail (done)
- Vibrate for new mail (done by editing the ngfd events)
- Turn on the display when new mail arrives
The last one is giving me troubles. I have no idea how to prevent the display from turning on if new mail arrives. Any help is appreciated. Once I have solved this issue I will write all things I've done in a short howto.
Update 09.08.2016
I fiddled with the /usr/share/lipstick/notificationcategories/x-nemo.email.*.conf
files without any success. I have the feeling I might be on the right track but don't understand the meaning of the settings in these files. So I guess I'll just give up and be happy with disabled vibration and led notification.
Related to this? I can no longer find that setting on my Jolla (1, updated to 2.0.2.48) but neither do I get unwanted screen wake-ups.
