The French "TGV Pro" no longer updates on jolla
I am using "TGV Pro", which is an online app for French trains, installed through the playstore. They have released a new version which somehow senses the device it is to be installed on and refuses to install on my jolla. Has anyone any idea of a workaround?
Google for the .apk file of the app, then install it from the file browser.

wcr ( 2016-08-06 22:38:37 +0200 )editThey've likely dropped support for Android 4.1 (so if you'd uninstall the app now, you'd not see it anymore in the store). The old version will likely stop functioning at some point anyway, as they develop the server side without caring for compatibility for the obsoleted versions. So upgrading manually using a .apk file is the only way.
zagrimsan ( 2016-08-07 13:11:11 +0200 )editthat sounds likely to me, thank you - but it's unfortunate. Is there no perspective that sailfish actually might move up to support higher versions of android?
wcr ( 2016-08-07 13:12:59 +0200 )editSailfish actually does, with the exception for the Jolla phone 1. Aqua Fish/C and tablet have higher versions.
