https://sailfishos.org/develop-firstapp-article.html mentions following:

Mer ARM device setup is done using Qt Creator's device settings. This is found from Tools -> Options -> Devices. In this settings view, choose "Add..." to start creating device settings.

However, Current qt-creator i have (Should be nevest at the time of writing this) does not have "Options" in the tools menu.

Steps to reach the device configuration is

Tools -> External -> Configure.

or

Qt Creator -> Preferences

and then pick "Devices"

The Qt Creator that comes with the SailfishOS SDK does have the documented menu structure.

Qt Creator 2.8.1
Based on Qt 4.8.4 (GCC 4.4.3, 64 bit)
Built on Dec 11 2013 at 17:00:21

The "Options..." is the last option in the Tools menu at least in the Linux version of Qt Creator. Your steps also lead to the same dialogue.

Do you run the SDK in Linux, Mac or Windows? Perhaps the menu content is a bit different depending on the host environment.

I checked the OSX version too and the Options... option is indeed missing from the Tools menu.

Thanks for the report, docs will be updated shortly.

The web page has now been updated to also mention the Qt Creator / Preferences option to get to the Devices settings.
