Hi everybody,

very cool would be a native IPSec integration in the connection manager of Jolla. Or access for development teams. Maybe integration of strongswan?

Technical comment: Our connection manager is connman. It may entirely be that the integration is there already, but there's no UI. See https://github.com/mer-packages/connman/tree/master/connman/plugins for some example plugins

VPN already discussed in general here: https://together.jolla.com/question/305/vpn-client/

We shouldn't fork such requests loosing votes ...

duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/305/vpn-client/ ?

considering https://github.com/mer-packages/connman/blob/master/connman/doc/vpn-config-format.txt, connman-vpn support OpenConnect, OpenVPN, VPNC, L2TP or PPTP

As it's already working and just needs a GUI I would say a general VPN GUI would be nice. OpenVPN, IPsec and even pptp would be nice to have.
