I have used many OS till know . I have found that ios, windows phone , samsung's tizen phone are some of the best phone with great battery back up when compared with there battery sizes.I think it's because of their optimized OSes. Can this be a possibility for sailfish os as well.

It is so much easier said than done. You should start by analysing what software uses up your battery.

For instance my daily use of software (phone, txt, calendar, email, browser) results in three days uptime on Sailfish, which is one and half days more what I would get with Windows Phone.

If you are using android apps on your Sailfish OS device then you need the alien dalvik app and this drains a lot of extra battery since it emulates another whole operating system... Sailfish Os has a very good battery life if the alien dalivk is not installed/running.

Furthermore there currently seems to be a bug in the latest SFOS releases that are draining much more battery than before: https://together.jolla.com/question/140203/202x-battery-drain/

The OS's you mentioned can achieve some better result in battery duration because they do not multitask, so their octa-core CPUs are mostly sitting idle. SailfishOS does real multitasking, so of course it will draw more power, because it does more things at the same time.

Having said that, the main battery burners in my experience are display and WiFi when in hotspot mode. Lower your display brightness and you will achieve a significant increase in battery duration.
