hardware is not really dated but simply belongs to low end...

on the other hand it works quite smooth for everything I use my Jolla C for. Except camera - that is just simply POS, and I think the device is my worst telephone ever. Today I missed calls for hours without any indications, getting notified via my good old dumb Nokia phone only. There must be something with phone sw of the device. Changing cellular connection to/from 4G/3G might or might not help, sometimes even phone restart does not solve it for a while...

So, yes, I'm eagerly waiting for coming Nokia devices with decent camera - and (semi) official Jolla support... ;)

I know I am dreaming but... I was thinking about partner space and Amazon, it would be perfect.

Amazon tried that with the FIRE phones; we know how well that went.

i ve got a intex aqua fish and it works fine. For document-scans, the cam is good enough. For better pictures, i take a digi-cam + zoom. The motorola cam was a little bit better....so what..

... but it is very sad...super sailfishOS...but no device in shops..

sad...but true

That's the thing, the device is good, but not great.

There should be a device premium enough that people don't carry an alternative with their Jolla. Nothing extravagant but rather a mid table offering will do perfectly fine. Features such as fingerprint scanner, gorilla glass protection, metal body are some that jolla and intex should look to incorporate. And in addition to that can we have Reply from notification panel feature in sailfish please?

if you want reply from notification panel, suggest it here as an own 'question', tag it as feature-request and wait ;-)

Although there is no confirmed launch date and price, a Russian company has unveiled a Sailfish-OS based phone with specs better than the Intex Aqua Fish. More details here - http://www.bandwidthblog.com/2016/06/10/oysters-sf-sailfish-os/ and http://www.gsmarena.com/oysters_sf_is_the_most_advanced_sailfish_os_phone_to_date-news-18674.php

Does anybody have any news regarding this phone? If I'm not mistaken this phone was announced on July and we are almost in November now. I was looking on this device as possible replacement of my almost three years old Jolla 1.
