Jolla Tablet display usage

Hi,

for quite some time now, I have got some Problems with my Jolla Tablet display. Often the Tablet "thinks" that it has been touched somewhere, were I didn't. That might result in different kind of problems, sometimes it, only reacts, when I touch it were hard, sometimes it tinnks I'm making ag guesture I don't do (changing the loudness), some times it does not react at all.

(cleaning the display does not help). What can I (or someone) do?

That could end quite badly, for instance buy something id did want, etc.

install paint application and check your touchscreen

I've had issues with the touchscreen not responding in patches in the top half of the tablet. I find that if you turn the display off by pressing the power button, then turning it back on again then the responsiveness is restored.

I have a tablet (and access to a second) and have never experienced this problem. I guess this is faulty hardware. Make a support request with Jolla and lets hope they can help you repair it, or even better prove my hypothesis wrong and resolve the problem without you needing to send it to Finland!

I have had the same problem, but it only happens when charging. However I haven't experienced it after the latest update to fiskarsinjoki, are you running the latest version?

I know the problems of weird touchscreen behavior while loading from my old Galaxy S2 and it only happened with crappy chargers which to not deliver proper voltage stability.

Hi,

I've nearly resigned. On the drawing app... nothing ocures. My current Version is 2.04.14 (Fiskarsinjoki), have no access to 2.0.5.Turning the display off and on again helps for some seconds... The problem orcues always, whether the tablet is charged or not.

Jolla advices me to use a (new) 2 A charger. So I bought a new one... now display fuctions normal.
